Digital Clubbing
The mechanism underlying clubbing is not known, but it is postulated that the end result is dilatation of the distal digital blood vessels with soft tissue hypertrophy


-Clubbing may be hereditary, idiopathic, or acquired
-carcinoma, intrathoracic sepsis, bacterial endocarditis, cyanotic congenital heart disease, esophageal disorders, cirrhosis, inflammatory bowel disease, pulmonary disorders, atrial myxoma, repeated pregnancies, pachydermoperiostosis, thyroid acropatch
