Recap:

A 42-year-old man presents to your ED with lesion seen in the photograph below. He states that he was hiking in the woods of New Jersey last week. He noticed the lesion on his leg yesterday.

Answers:
1.
Erythema migrans (the most common clinical manifestation of Lyme disease)
2. Borrelia burgdorferi (a spirochete - acquired from the bite of the Ixodes scapularis tick)
3. Antibiotics (doxycycline or amoxicillin)
